In 2025, Asia Green Energy Public Company Limited (AGE) continued to operate amid ongoing changes in the energy industry, volatility in the global economy, and the accelerating energy transition across countries worldwide. In Thailand, total coal consumption in 2025 stood at 30.31 million tonnes, representing a slight decrease of 2.8% from the previous year. Approximately 63% of coal consumption was used for power generation, while 37% was used in the industrial sector, reflecting the prevailing economic conditions and domestic energy demand.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n While many countries continue to pursue Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions targets and place greater emphasis on reducing fossil fuel consumption, coal remains an important source of reliable and stable energy supply, particularly in South and Southeast Asia, where energy demand continues to grow.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Recognizing the need to balance its core businesses with preparations for future growth, the Company has continued to implement its business strategy through four core business groups. The Coal Business remains the Company\u2019s primary revenue base. The Integrated Logistics Business provides logistics services both within and outside the Group, supporting cost efficiency and generating recurring revenue. The Sustainable Energy Business is led by Asia Biomass Public Company Limited (ABM), the Group\u2019s flagship biomass energy business, together with Green RDF Company Limited, a producer and distributor of refuse-derived fuel (RDF), and QTC Energy Public Company Limited, an associated company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electrical transformers, which strengthens the Group\u2019s energy infrastructure capabilities. The fourth business group is the Low Emission Mobility Business, which covers the distribution of electric vehicles and internal combustion engine vehicles, as well as EV taxi rental services.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n In 2025, the Company generated total revenue of Baht 15,317.8 million, an increase of 4.1% from the previous year, and net profit of Baht 302.09 million, representing a significant increase of 233.2%. This improvement was driven by effective cost management and the optimal utilization of available resources to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness amid continued economic volatility and uncertainty.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n In terms of sustainability, the Company continued to place strong emphasis on conducting its business under the ESG framework, reflecting its commitment to responsible business practices with due consideration for the environment, society, and good corporate governance.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n On behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our shareholders, investors, financial institutions, business partners, customers, suppliers, communities, as well as our executives and employees, for their continued trust and support.
